March 7th is National Cereal Day. Yes, there is such a thing as National Cereal Day!
As a child, my decision on which cereal to eat hinged on which one had the coolest commercial or the best toy inside. As an adult, I read labels and obsess over ingredients. I look for cereals that provide whole grains and give me a boost to my morning.
And when it comes to my kids, I find that cereals allow me to get them the nutrients they need without a fight. There is the key to cereal – finding the right one with great flavor and nutrients. Mornings are hectic on their own, I don’t need a fight over breakfast.
