Preparing for the Holidays

During a recent holiday party at BJ’s Wholesale Club, I was provided with gifts and a gift card as compensation for time and travel however all opinions expressed are my own.

Preparing for the holidays is no small feat in my house.  There are so many lights I worry we are going to take out the grid.  There are relatives and relatives and more relatives that make their once-a-year appearance.  And of course, there are the three children.  From chasing them down as they grab breakable ornaments off of the tree (we learned long ago that it either doesn’t go on the tree or stays above reach) to keeping them entertained during holiday break, the challenges are never ending.

But it’s all worth it to see the day through their eyes.  So to make the magic happen, every year I visit my local BJ’s Wholesale Club.  I LOVE BJ’s for so many reasons but probably #1 on the list is that I can stack up manufacturer’s and BJ’s coupons to increase my savings and let my already stretched dollar go even further.

A few items I love from this year’s BJ’s holiday offerings are:

  • LeapFrog LeapPad2 Super Starter Bundle  – BJ’s does this awesome thing where they bundle gifts together and add a little “bonus” to the toy purchase.  The LeapFrog LeapPad2 Super Starter Bundle offers a bonus $20 digital download card!

  • Holiday Gift Packs – I never know what to purchase the children’s teachers but BJ’s always has a solution. The holiday gift baskets and multi-pack gift packs are perfect teacher’s and “last minute” holiday gifts.  Their Godiva Mug Gift with the yummy chocolates in a beautiful mug is only $14.99!

  • Lindt Bear Family – My toddler has asked for one thing and one thing only for Christmas and that is candy!  To appease her sweet tooth, I purchased the adorable Lindt Bear Family 5 pack.  It’s an adorable stocking stuffer that she is going to love.

Besides these great items, I stock up on plates, utensils, napkins, cheeses, and lots of easily popped in the oven treats that make holiday entertaining a cinch.
